We like to begin with an in-depth conversation about the design aesthetic
and overall feel of the event, either in our San Francisco office or over the phone. During this initial meeting, we like to establish a budget range for the items to be created, which gives us an idea for which types of materials and
production methods will be feasible.
Once we have have a sense of the design style, we move into the concept phase. This sometimes includes a design inspiration, with images that convey texture,
mood, materials, and printing styles. From there, we design several entirely customized concepts specifically to the client's budget and taste.
After feedback on the concepts, we narrow down the options to accommodate specific requests, text changes and style choices. We want clients to be thrilled with their design, so we don't cap the number of proofs; it usually takes two or three rounds to get the design finalized.
Once the design has been approved, we move forward ordering materials based on the provided quantity. We always recommend a 15% overage to account for last-minute additions, returns from the post office, photos and keepsakes. While all of our designs are produced by our team in-house, our materials come from around the globe, so production timing can vary.
ASSEMBLY & MAILING
Yonder takes care of the entire assembly and mailing process. We offer digital guest addressing, as well as calligraphy in a number of styles. Because we manage all of the production, we are able to ensure the utmost quality throughout the entire process, releasing that burden from clients or planners.
We see our event work as a branding project, carrying cohesive elements throughout the life of the event. From the first save the date to the final farewell, maintaining a consistent brand ensures that guests are taken care of. Aside from invitations, we specialize in day-of items, such as menus, escort displays, place cards, welcome gifts, dance floor designs, signage for the venue, and much more. Our in-house production allows us the flexibility to accommodate changing guest lists and last minute modifications. For events both local and afar, we can arrange for a staff member to manage all collateral materials such as the delivery and set-up of signage, escort displays, menus, seating chart management, and even styling assistance for photographers.
